Obama is Systematically Destroying America

In this blog I read, it talked about how Americans are blind to Obama and how he is destroying America.

It’s true. Americans are blinded by his “good deeds” and his nonsense about how he is going to “change” things. When really, he’s setting up our country for failure. “50% of their life savings and 30% of their home values have already evaporated into thin air. National unemployment is driving towards double digits as home foreclosures continue to mound.” (Blog) People have allowed themselves to believe whatever Obama says, the media, and the journalists who put Obama in the lime light. They have entered into a state of total dependence on the government and whatever the government says or does because of this one man. When Bush was President, all the media and news journalists did was scrutinize his every move, making him seem like a “secretive” president, and that he was not helping our country. It is baffling to see how people can look the other way and just allow Obama to seem like a king on a high pedestal. That he is our “savior from our failing economy” the one who will end all this and “change America.” No one seems to notice Obama’s ridiculous and demeaning comments about the Special Olympics. Or even the fact that in the first sixty days of his presidency he increased the national debt from $3 trillion to $4 trillion.

Yes, I believe that Obama truly does want to better our Country. But he is not fit to run our country. I want to better our country, my family wants to better our country, anyone who is an average Patriotic American wants to better our country. But are we fit to run an administration that will make decisions that will carry out to actually change our country? No. But, those who are in Politics and who have the experience and qualifications to run a Presidential Administration are fit to run our nation. Obama has shown no experience except less than one term as a senator. That is overwhelmingly devastating. We elected a president who has good speaking capabilities and a way with words to persuade the American public, without realizing he was completely unqualified. We need to realize the destruction that could come out of this presidential term, and that even though he may want to better our country, he’s not proving to make the changes to do so. He is surrounding himself with the wrong decision-makers which makes it even worse for our country. We need to get out of this economic crisis with a president who is capable of leading our country.

The Housing Market: it’s only a symptom

The current situation our housing market (and the entire consumer market as a whole) has found itself in a sorry state. You might point to thousands of reasons, or people to blame, but all of these miss the point.

What economists are pointing at as the cause for our crisis are merely the symptons of a greater disease called human nature.

The more i learn about history, the more i see it repeats itself. Time and time again we see an economic nosedive due to overspeculation of the market, and unpayable mortgages. People see the market climbing, and decide that this is the time to hop on board and take out a loan to big for them to pay back in hopes of selling their investment and making bank. Lenders see a swarm of greedy people yapping at their heels for a loan, waving the upfront fee. The greedy lenders take it, because they want the couple thousand bucks they can pocket from it, regardless of the persons ability (or lack thereof) to repay that loan. What we’re facing is nothing new. Humans are prone to greed.

The longer I see and hear about the problems in this world, the more i realize, there is no human cure to society and economics. Capitalism, Communism, Democracy, Monarchy…. None of them will ever achieve their grand goal because HUMANS ARE FLAWED creatures, prone to drift towards selfishness, greed, corruption, and a degrading moral code. Society has been a failed institution since Eden, propping itself up periodically, and managing to limp along to the present day.

1 Peter 2:11-17

11Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. 12Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. 13Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, 14or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 16Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. 17Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.

Buzzing about the Bailout

The government bailout is on everyone’s mind today. With the economy doing poorly, and jobs more unsure than ever; more people are turning to the governemnt to sort out this mess that has been created. The problem with the government bailing us out of the slippery hole is that in a capitalist economy, there is not much they are given the power to do in the constitution. Our forefathers never thought of a “Wall Street” which was computerized with millions of shares of stock. Now the problem is that no one wants to get their hands dirty with a faulty bailout plan. The congress does not want to do it, so they request the Secretary of Treasury to do it. First of all, the Secretary of Treasury is not authorized by the constitution to spend taxpayers money, even to get them out of a nasty problem. Second, the congress cannot just will away their power to someone else. That is what the series of checks and balances in our government is all about. The judicial branch cannot start spending taxes, and the president cannot start interpreting laws. Each branch is seperate and must remain that way.

Really, I have yet to hear why the government is involving itself in this problem to begin with. People got themselves into this problem through greed- buying houses they couldn’t afford, or putting items they couldn’t afford on credit. Now they are realizing that they have to pay for it and are whining like kids who are in over their heads and want their parents to fix it. This is individual people’s problems and people who were responsible shouldn’t have to pay for people who were greedy’s mistakes. That is what capitolism is. Every person for themself financially. Maybe instead of doing a bailout, the government should offer classes in money managment.
